Operations Manager

Overview

TechFarms is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. We are a technology incubator and coworking space, and we are seeking an experienced administrator who can perform vital managerial and clerical tasks in support of our businesses and entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate is adaptable and self-motivated with a command of best practices in administration, HR, and an interest in working in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foresee operations policies and procedures to ensure growth and smooth operations of multiple companies
  • Manage HR on-boarding, off-boarding, training, performance reviews, and company processes
  • Enter transactions and assist the accounting department in managing the company‚Äôs financial books
  • Manage company projects across multiple departments
  • Oversee and direct daily business operations for optimum efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist with mail, invoices, bills, organizing/filing paperwork and other administrative tasks
  • Identify and remove roadblocks to improve efficiency for the company
  • Conduct research and provide reports

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • An understanding of basic HR principles
  • An understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Ability to quickly learn new software platforms
  • Management experience preferred
  • Experience with word docs, presentation software, and spreadsheets
  • Resourceful and adaptable to new challenges
  • World-class organizational and project management skills
