On November 6th, 2019 TechFarms co-hosted an event with Alliance Bernstein: Investing in Innovation 2.0 How Technology is Driving Generational Change with Consumers and Investors. Attendees traveled to TechFarms from surrounding cities and states to network, dine, and obtain insights on the latest technology investment opportunities.

Amy Botkin, Vice President / Financial Advisor of Bernstein emceed the event, introducing speakers Greg S. Young and Steve Millaway, and hosting a Q&A segment for attendees.
Greg S. Young, CFA, Senior Investment Strategist for Bernstein presented “How Technology is Driving Generational Change.” His presentation began with an examination of Big Data and the impacts of artificial intelligence and machine learning in technology, media, and the digital revolution in healthcare. This was followed by insights into the buying behaviors and habits of Millennials and the impacts of generational change on investment opportunities.
Steve Millaway, Founder/CEO of TechFarms discussed how TechFarms is striving to grow the technology ecosystem in the southeast by connecting entrepreneurs and innovators with the resources they need for success. Steve introduced several projects currently in development at TechFarms and discussed the mission and process of the venture capital fund, TechFarms Capital.
Kelly Reeser, Managing Director of TechFarms Capital presented to attendees an overview of TechFarms Capital’s network of startups and investors in the southeast.
